Kyle and Jenny’s wedding day was marked by the intimate atmosphere of New York City Hall, where I captured the essence of their joy and love immediately after their ceremony. Although I couldn’t be inside the marriage bureau due to their limitations, I was there waiting as they exited, hand in hand with their family members, newly married and beaming with happiness.
Their families were present to celebrate this significant day, including both sets of parents and Kyle's remarkable grandfather. I must say, Kyle’s grandfather was a standout—youthful not only in appearance but in spirit. His lively personality added a special charm to the day, making the moments we captured even more memorable.
We began with a series of photos on the grand steps of the Supreme Court, with its towering columns providing a magnificent backdrop. Here, I made sure to include various combinations of family members, including a special shot of what I call the “Supporting Cast”—everyone present, excluding the couple. This shot was a tribute to those who stand by Kyle and Jenny with unwavering support. It was a moment of connection and celebration, honoring the bonds that unite them.
After parting ways with their family, we continued to a building beside the Federal Court, featuring beautiful arches that allowed light to filter in at just the right angles. These arches created a perfect setting for capturing motion and candid shots that truly showcased the chemistry between Kyle and Jenny. Their love was palpable, radiating through each frame despite the rainy day that surrounded us.
While the weather limited some of what we could do, I promised them a 30-minute session on a sunnier day—a chance to make up for the gloomy skies and continue capturing their story. Despite the rain, their smiles, happiness, and shared joy were undeniable, making the day one to remember.
Hopefully, these photos will jog your memory of the day and bring a smile to your faces. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together!
