The proposal began with Amber blindfolded as Kevin led her into the setup. Her reaction was priceless—she was absolutely overjoyed. During the shoot, I discovered it was also her birthday, making the day even more unforgettable. Kevin has a perfect way of never forgetting the date he proposed, something that will always stand out for him.
Amber’s joy was infectious—she was animated, jumping with excitement, and even shed a few tears of happiness. She was fully engaged in the moment, willing to do anything for the photos, but more importantly, she was present with Kevin. The way she looked at him, taking in his expressions and his happiness, spoke volumes. It was almost as if she wanted to ensure he felt just as overjoyed as she did. And he truly was. Although it was a rainy day, we didn’t let that stop us. Since they’re not from New York, we decided to embrace the city’s vibe. We headed outside for some quintessential NYC shots, capturing moments in the streets that screamed, “We’re in New York!” From popping champagne in the rain to hailing a yellow cab, every moment felt iconic.
