Rob and Sian's Wedding Day

Rob and Sian’s wedding day was nothing short of memorable, filled with warmth, connection, and joyful moments. From the very beginning, it was clear this would be a day to cherish.
The day began with a funny coincidence: the couple and I arrived early and stood just 10 feet apart, waiting for each other. Because I had mispronounced Sian’s name in my mind, I didn’t realize we were both there, and turned away Rob not realizing we were both waiting for the same event. A light-hearted start that set the tone for the rest of the day!
Accompanying Rob and Sian were their daughter Isla and Sian’s parents, Debbie and John. Their presence brought an extra layer of love and energy to the day. Everyone was welcoming, making me feel at ease and allowing me to get creative without hesitation. John, in particular, stood out—his love for documenting the moment was evident as he enthusiastically took pictures of everyone on his phone. At one point, I thought to myself that if I had brought an extra camera, I would have happily loaned it to him so he could take even more pictures!
Debbie, on the other hand, quietly observed the day with a permanent smile on her face, exuding pride and joy as she watched her family celebrate this beautiful milestone.
The ceremony itself was a beautiful reflection of their bond. The affection between Rob, Sian, and Isla was evident in every hug, kiss, and shared smile. Isla, old enough to understand the significance of the day, was genuinely happy for her parents, her excitement shining through in every candid moment.
After the ceremony, Rob and Sian exited the building to a fun and celebratory moment with confetti, adding a vibrant and playful touch to the day. And in the spirit of inclusion, I lent my pocket camera to Isla, who enthusiastically recorded and documented her perspective of the day. While I haven’t had the chance to watch those videos, I’m sure they’ll bring back wonderful memories when the family revisits them.
We wrapped up the day with a classic New York experience, capturing the iconic backdrops of the city. The energy and vibrancy of New York complemented the connection and joy of this family perfectly.
