Your Wedding Day Narrative
Rashi and Sagar,
First of all, I want to say how welcoming and accommodating you both were, not just as a couple but along with your entire family. From the moment everyone met up, the greetings and interactions between your family members were so genuine and filled with pure joy. It was heartwarming to witness such an incredible bond, and it set the tone for a truly memorable day.
Though I wasn’t able to capture the actual ceremony inside the marriage bureau, everything we captured afterward was a lot of fun, and I believe we got some incredible pictures that reflect the love and joy of the occasion.
One of the most memorable parts of the day was the grand exit. After heading to the designated exit spot, your families prepared rose petals, ensuring everything was ready for the big moment. Both sets of parents exited first, taking their places to form a beautiful line for your entrance. When you both stepped out, the happiness on your faces was undeniable, and as the petals rained down, it felt like a moment straight out of a dream. I’m confident we captured some stunning photos during this scene of celebration and pure joy.
Following the grand exit, we moved on to the congratulations and greetings between family members, followed by family portraits. Despite the cold, everyone braved the weather with smiles and warmth. Though the Supreme Court steps were closed, we found an excellent spot next door at the Federal Courthouse to continue capturing moments. We worked through different combinations for group shots and ended with the “Supporting Cast” photo—your family, standing strong as the foundation of your love story.
From there, your family went ahead to the next meeting spot, leaving the two of you with me to continue creating. We explored the corner of Chambers and Centre Street, capturing dynamic shots with stunning architecture in the background. One of the highlights was heading into the subway, where we waited for a train to arrive. While it took a bit longer than expected, the time allowed you both to warm up, and we made the most of it with long exposure and creative shots that I think you’ll love.
All in all, I thought it was a fantastic shoot. You both were naturals in front of the camera—your smiles were genuine, your interactions effortless, and your ability to follow instructions made the process seamless and enjoyable.
I’m so happy to present these pictures to you. My hope is that when you read this narrative alongside your gallery, it will spark memories of this special day. Whether it’s next week or five years from now, I hope it feels like it happened just yesterday. This was a significant milestone in your journey together, and I’m certain there are many more to come.
Wishing you both a fun yet productive journey ahead as you continue to build your lives together.
Warm regards,
